NIFATT

Northern Ireland Families Against Telecommunications Transmitters.

NIFATT is an cross community umbrella organisation which is concerned about the location of telecommunication transmitters (the majority) within 200 metres of their own homes, local schools and hospitals.

NIFATT believes that: in the absence of any research which demonstrates that mobile phones and masts are free of negative health effects and in light of a fast growing, and disturbing, body of research evidence which casts serious doubt over their safety, it is irrational, and a potentially serious threat to public health and safety through the chronic exposure of
people to low levels of microwave radiation, to erect any such masts close to homes, schools and hospitals in Northern Ireland.
